Only one week till our next summer trip...the map is final-ish! 3 connecting flights to start, 6 nights of reservations out of 25, 14 National Parks plus many more National Monuments & Forests, and a new car we've never seen waiting on us in Washington State. How could anything go wrong?

Heading west to the mountains in 4 weeks from today! I've made all the reservations I'm making, the house is booked all 3 weeks with relatives, and Montana had 2 feet of snow this week. Oh yeah!!!

22 miles on the mountain bike this morning with the only mountain being the cell phone swallowing Hwy 79 Bridge. (no phone incidents today) Only 40 Days till we get to the Real Mountains!!!

Who knew that 4 months at Shipwreck Water Park in PCB cost almost exactly the same as 4 hours of whale watching in the San Juan Islands.  I'll let you know in 4 months which was a better value!!

Been making a little progress on this summers vacation...two more reservations knocked out - Hood River, OR & Silver Gate, MT.  Got some of the Monroe family booked in our house...now if only we can reach an agreement on the Odyssey vs Sienna issue!
